Sad but true. My ex-girlfriend was raised Mormon. So I went to a couple of her church services. I couldn't help but notice at the meetings how most the women there were over weight and packing some serious poundage.
So, I Googled "Why are so many Mormon women fat?" Wow...there are a couple of web sites that explain this phenomenon. It seems that religions that suppress women seem to have this effect on them...they pig out so to speak.
Just like the Mormons, If you go into most Kingdom Halls you will notice one of two things. Most the people there are women and most of them are over weight.
Coincidence? Me think not!

Has anyone on here used this forum to announce they were out and revealed their real name?
by HiddenPimo injust wondering if anyone has ever posted their personal information and have proof that the borg is watching and sent the gestapo to get them?.
i will be announcing my resignation and da myself - and i am objectively looking at either doing it bud dwyer (not really like him but by extension) style at a meeting or an email blast or just giving a letter to the boe?.

Leave however you want DA DFed or fade.
Playing by their rules or not, I choose to DA myself.
Why? It had nothing to do with "their rules."
It had to do with the fact that I had (publicly) joined their stupid organization/club at 17 years old by being baptized. Whether I was brainwashed or not, forced in to it or not, it happened.
Since I publicly entered this club, I decided to publicly announce to the world I was leaving it. No I was not kicked out of their club.
I told the world publicly I kicked them out of my life.

There are a lot of religions that don't go to war the Quakers the Amish does that make them god's only true church?
Ask him if he knows that a member of the governing Body was a pedophile? That they asked him to leave Bethel and he was never DFed!

A very simple answer to a very difficult question.
I think Erhart Tolle said it perfectly. There is only 3 ways most people handle any situation
!. They complain about it, this is what most people do.
2. Accept the situation completely knowing that things will probably not change.
3. Reject it completely.
Of course all three choices has it's problems.
